Edwardian Davenport

Edwardian rosewood floral marquetry inlaid Davenport by Trapnell & Gane, Bristol, with four side drawers. Brass gallery rail to stationary lid, fitted interior, corresponding dummy drawers to left side. Maker’s plaque to interior of drawer. Comes with keys.

Plaque on top engraved “Presented to Mr. & Mrs. J.A Vicary By the members of the gospel hall st nicholas road on the occasion of their marriage August 16th 1893”

please note: some damage/ wear consistent with age. some of the veneer has lifted/broken near the right hand side hinge of the writing space(see photos). overall in good condition for its age.
